Community Advisory Board

The JET Community Advisory Board is a group of citizens that keep JET advised of community concerns and help JET stay responsive to the city and its citizens. There are seven members that serve on the board; six each represent a particular Ward, and one serves as an at-large representative. The members are nominated by the Mayor and confirmed by the City Council, and serve three-year staggered terms.

The JET Community Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss issues that JET is currently facing, help develop plans to address concerns, and provide input to JET management.

The Board also formally hears and responds to complaints, concerns, and suggestions from the public.

Meetings are open to the public. They are held at 10:00 a.m. on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the First Floor Conference Room at the Jonesboro Municipal Center.
