Jonesboro is a beautiful city that proudly shows our Natural State's feel. Downtown Jonesboro has all of the beauty the rest of the city is known for and more. Downtown Jonesboro is a beautiful district with an amazing culture and a historic past. The Downtown Jonesboro Association is here to revitalize the downtown corridor. We are here to give a voice to the community and business owners that make our downtown district what it is.
Our program, a recognized Main Street Community, has adopted the organizational structure and processes of Main Street because this will help to ensure that we have a solid foundation for success. Downtown business and property owners have the unique advantage of having access to consultants, at no cost, anytime with Main Street Arkansas. Our interior, exterior, and small business consultants help individuals receive the information and tools they need to be set up for success.
Becoming part of a larger network allows for access to federal and local grants that help fund things such as art centers, improved storefronts, street safety features such as crosswalks, and beautification projects that increase the aesthetics of our downtown community. Certain grants are:
- Main Street Arkansas Slipcover Grants
- Downtown Revitalization Grant, provided by Main Street Arkansas
- Downtown Facade Grant Program, provided by the Downtown Jonesboro Association
