The most effective way to prevent the devastating effects of fire and other injuries is educating the public is and introducing strategies to deal with these emergencies. According to the United States Fire Administration (USFA), more than 3,500 Americans die each year in fires and approximately 18,300 are injured. Children and the elderly comprise the majority of these deaths and injuries. To combat these statistics, the Jonesboro Fire Department has created several pages on the left side of your screen with helpful tips and facts to help keep you, your family and our community safe.
