According to the United States Fire Administration (USFA), more than 3,500 Americans die each year in fires and approximately 18,300 are injured. Children and the elderly comprise the majority of these deaths and injuries. The purpose of fire and life safety education is to reduce deaths, injuries, and property loss. By helping to increase knowledge and modify attitudes and behaviors it is our mission to progress towards a safer Jonesboro, reduce injuries and ultimately eliminate fire deaths.
