The NEA Volleyball Academy is a heavily emphasized fundamental league, that provides the children of our community the chance to play a version of volleyball without the travel or club costs associated in this youth sport. We want to give your child an opportunity to learn about volleyball without impacting your budget.
The City of Jonesboro's intent with the NEA Volleyball Academy is to provide an alternate to the Junior Olympic or traveling team volleyball, we also view the Academy as a stepping stone for the athletes of Northeast Arkansas. Children that learn the fundamentals in the Academy will have a foundation of skills that will transfer to the Junior Olympic, Junior High School, High School, and College levels.
Our goal is to introduce a foundation that will allow young players to optimize their athletic potential and develop life skills through volleyball. We are here to cultivate a positive, family-like environment for athletes that promotes sportsmanship, competition, and fair play. .
We want to build on the rich culture of volleyball dominance, starting with the NEA Volleyball Academy. Registration is limited to 225 players, the season will run from middle October through early December. We can't wait to see you on the court!
