NEA Youth Disc Golf

NEA Youth Disc Golf is a program that teaches children and teenagers the sport of disc golf. Disc golf is a game similar to golf, but instead of using a ball and clubs, players use discs to throw through a series of baskets. The goal of the game is to get the discs in the baskets in as few throws as possible.

There are many benefits to participating in a youth disc golf recreation program. Disc golf is a great way for children and teenagers to get exercise, learn sportsmanship, and make new friends. It is also a relatively inexpensive sport, so it is accessible to many families.

A typical youth disc golf recreation program will include the following elements:

  • Instruction on the basic rules of disc golf
  • Instruction on the different types of discs and how to use them
  • Practice throwing discs
  • Play on a disc golf course
  • Competition

Some additional benefits of participating in a youth disc golf recreation program are improved hand-eye coordination, increased self-confidence, enhanced problem-solving skills, reduced stress levels, promotes teamwork, and develops a sense of accomplishment.

If you are looking for a fun and healthy activity for your child or teenager, we encourage you to consider enrolling them in NEA Youth Disc Golf recreation program. It is a great way for them to get exercise, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Discs will be provided for practice and competitions, all participants will receive a t-shirt and trophy.
