Improving Our Parks

The City of Jonesboro and Halff are partnering together to develop a Parks & Recreation Master Plan to identify improvements to the parks system necessary to meet both current and future community needs for parks, open space, and urban areas.

Project Purpose:

The project purpose is to create a long-term plan for updating and upgrading city parks and bringing opportunities for increased physical activity into areas of the city that are within 15 minutes of walking distance from a park facility.

Timeline:

This project will take approximately 12 months to complete. Should be completed by the end of 2023.
